My goal is for you to have a photograph that you love. Whether it’s an image I’ve captured in my ongoing conversation with the light or something beautiful that we create together:
• A portrait that you’ll enjoy every day
• That peak part of your performance
• Those wondrous and fleeting moments from your wedding

With natural light outdoors or inside with full studio lighting my approach is the same. I try to tune my intuition to the moment and let the photograph reveal itself. With preparation, a sense of fun, and a bit of serendipity, the moment is noticed and the image is captured.

My hope is that the work you see here speaks for itself. I’ve been in love with photography since I got my first camera at age 16 (a 35mm Nikkormat). Since then I’ve never lost my delight in the interplay of light and shadow, form and content, motion and stasis. The experience I’ve gained along the way allows me to offer you a trained eye that’s ready to work with you to realize your visual dreams.
